GM Performance Parts harnesses leave something to be desired when it comes to the fan setup. Installing this kit allows your GMPP controller to control two fans in off, low speed, and high speed operation*! Extra relays and fuses install in the GMPP fuse block for an OEM looking install. Allows you to run powerful high performance fans such as Spal units. Comes with complete instructions on how to add our GMPP fan harness into your fuseblock, and also a downloadable HP Tuners file to enable the fans in your control module! *To take advantage of the low & high speed operation, the ECM will need to be re-flashed with tuning software. We host the patch online in HP Tuners format, or if you email the file, we will apply it for free. If you are sending in your ECM for the patch it is $99 for the software licensing & you would need to cover return shipping.

Great kit! All of the wiring is proper gauge automotive wire. Having the correct pins to plug into the GMPP fuse box makes for an OEM quality installation. Running the fans at lower engine temperatures and low speed helps keep the engine temp more where you want it without the fans on high speed making your car sound like a vacuum cleaner. I highly recommend this kit if you have a GMPP harness, ECU and dual electric fans.
