Injector shopping can be overwhelming. If you are buying a set of injectors for your build, it is absolutely crucial that you buy them from a place that supplies injector data. Without this data, the injectors will be useless to us. This data describes how the injector flows at different pressures, voltages, and time. It must be found in GM format. It cannot be a generic flow / offset sheet. Quality injector data is in excel format.
One of the biggest variables is time. If the injector is fired for a very short amount of time there needs to be some accounting of how long it takes for the injector pintle to actually move and fuel start to flow. It’s important to understand that the injector will not even begin to move until so many milliseconds have passed, that when it does it will not be flowing 100% of its flow rate, etc.
This cannot be found while the injector is in the car. It is found with a complex purpose built flow test.
This data will not be a simple generic sheet of data but it will say something along the lines of Injector data in HP tuners format or Injector data in GM format.
If you cannot find that posted freely on their website you shouldn’t buy those injectors. We want successful builds and tunes. While we do sell injectors, you don’t have to buy from us – but don’t hesitate to ask for advice so that we can both have a great outcome.
