This Product is intended for off-road use only. PCMforless of NC, Inc. dba PCM of NC, INC (the “Company”) cannot be held liable if the product is used in conjunction with any vehicle on U.S. roads or highways or in any other jurisdiction where the Product would not meet safety or emission standards, as specified by that jurisdiction. The person, individual or entity that purchases or installs or uses the Product in a vehicle, (the “Customer” or “you”) in any situation, assumes any liability arising from any negligent, grossly negligent, reckless, willful or wanton use of the Product in a manner not explicitly ascribed or condoned by the Company.

The Product is intended to increase the performance of the Customer’s vehicle. The Company cannot be held liable by the Customer or any third party for damage, injury or death caused by the Product or the Customer’s vehicle if the Product is abused by the Customer and not used for intended or approved purposes listed by the Company.

Installation of the Product may cause the Customer to be in violation of EPA provisions on emissions and the Clean Air Act. The Product may cause the Customer’s vehicle to run cleaner when the Product is installed properly. The Company does not purposely bypass any emissions equipment in the programming or install “defeat devices” for any vehicles whose intended use is not off-road.

This Product is not endorsed by the manufacturer of your vehicle and there is no affiliation between the Company and the manufacturer of your vehicle. Installation of the Product in your vehicle or use of the Product with your vehicle may limit or void any and all rights under any warranty provided by the manufacturer of your vehicle. Upon your installation of the product you assume all responsibility related to any limitation or nullification of the manufacturer or dealer warranty. The Company accepts no responsibility for the limitation or nullification of any warranty. Any warranty not provided herein, and any remedy which, but for this provision, might arise by implication or operation of law, is hereby excluded and disclaimed. The implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any particular purpose herein are expressly disclaimed by the Company.

The Company has no input or control regarding the use and or abuse of the Product by the customer. The Company makes no representations or warranties regarding the performance or safety of the Product after it is installed by the Customer. Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable to Customer or other third parties for any damage to the Customer’s vehicle or the loss of use of the Customer’s vehicle or for personal injuries suffered by any individual, or for any incidental, special or consequential damages, whether arising out of negligence, breach of warranty, breach of contract, or otherwise. The Company’s liability for any damages, loss and/or claims associated with the Product shall be limited to the price of the Product paid by the Customer. The Customer hereby releases the Company from all liability, claims and damages associated with the Product, with the sole exception of the Company’s liability for the refund of the purchase price of the Product to the Customer in the event that a court of competent jurisdiction determines the Customer suffered damages directly resulting from the malfunction of the Product.



Core Return Information

To be eligible for return, your core must be postmarked within 7 days of receiving your order. Cores must be in good working condition and free from aesthetic defects (damaged case, corrosion, not tuner locked). If sending in a PCM with plastic connectors, they must be free from chips and any damage, and also all locking tabs must be intact. We reserve the right to make the final call on whether a PCM is eligible for core return or not. If you are planning to return a core that is LOCKED by another tuner, you must let us know ahead of time. Also, we will verify that the PCM can be unlocked and is viable before issuing a core return. You can also keep your stock core if you wish.

If you are notified that your core is not acceptable for return, it is your responsibility to cover return shipping to get it back to you. You most likely can still sell it on eBay to recoup some cost.

When sending your core back, include your contact information. Do not assume we can identify who you are by the return address (as a lot of people send packages through mailing centers). If there is no correspondence in the box, the core will be set aside until we are contacted.

Core returns are typically processed within 1-2 days of receiving the core. The core cost will be refunded to whatever method you paid with – either your paypal account or your credit card.

The modules we supply in core programs come with a one year warranty.

Order Processing

Your billing address and shipping address must match if this is your first order with PCM of NC.

Generally, an order for tuning takes 1-2 days to process and ship once we have received both an order sheet and a payment. PCM’s that are sent in receive first priority. They are normally shipped the same or next business day. If you are sending in a PCM, it is wise to call or email to verify that we will be open when your PCM arrives so that is not sitting here for a week over a holiday, etc.

Products are shipped as soon as possible. Occasionally during heavy ordering periods we run out of stock. You will be notified if we are out of stock, and given the option to wait or receive a refund. Please note that your credit card is charged when the order is placed, not when it is shipped. This is how the software works and we do not have control over that so we apologize for any inconvenience.

Sale pricing is only valid during the actual sale. We are not able to honor pricing after the sale has ended, nor are we able to refund the difference on orders placed before the sale period. This is only to ensure fairness to all customers.

When your order is shipped, the tracking number will be updated in our system and emailed to you.

Return Policy

Tuning: Due to the nature of our business we do not issue refunds as we are custom building programs specifically for your needs. We do however take great pride in our work and it is a pleasure to help you achieve a excellent running car. Things you can do to help us make our tune better are to provide datalogs, scanner readings, dyno sheets, or just a really helpful description of the problem. With our experience we can also help diagnose other problems which may be interfering with the tuning. By purchasing a tune from us you accept our return policy.

Products: Products are accepted for return within 30 days of purchase date. You must contact us first before sending anything back. Products must be NEW, not removed from packaging or installed. We do not reimburse shipping, and you are responsible for the return shipping. There is a 10% restocking fee. We reserve the right to make the final call on what is and is not eligible for return (i.e. if parts arrive damaged or appear to have been installed). Custom ground camshafts and cylinder heads are not eligible for returns.

International Orders

For international shipments, we typically use United States Postal Service, either priority or express. Depending on location we can sometimes use UPS, but expect to incur duty on the receiving end. If our website does not allow you to process an international order, please email us and we will take care of it for you. Please note that USPS does not update their online tracking information as readily as other couriers.

Sending in a PCM/Chip

Please include correspondence in your package when sending anything into us. If your vehicle also has a TCM, please send that in as well (ask us if you are not sure). Tell us your name, contact information, and the reason for sending in your PCM/etc (i.e. core return, reflash, etc). Due to the volume of packages that we receive, items that come in without any included correspondence are set aside until we are contacted. When sending in a PCM, please pack it carefully. We recommend wrapping in bubble wrap and securing it with packing paper/peanuts to keep it from getting slammed around in the box. Depending on the PCM, you should insure it for $100-$300+. If you are including your own return shipping, DO NOT SEND STAMPS. If you use USPS please send a prepaid LABEL. Please note that USPS packages are often picked up the following day as our mail runs early. Thank you!

Pricing and Website Errors

We do our best to proof read and price check our website, but occasionally there may be mistakes. We reserve the right to make the final call on any pricing errors. We will either honor the listed price, offer for you to make up the difference, or offer a full refund depending on the circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience.
