Benefits: Helps vehicle run cooler, which allows us to be more aggressive with the tuning. Note: 160 degree thermostat does not mean the vehicle will operate at 160 degrees. The coolant temperature is controlled by the cooling fans and how soon/late they come on. Generally we aim for an operating temperature between 190-210.
