GM Performance Parts harnesses leave something to be desired when it comes to the fan setup. Installing this kit allows your GMPP controller to control two fans in off, low speed, and high speed operation*! Extra relays and fuses install in the GMPP fuse block for an OEM looking install. Allows you to run powerful high performance fans such as Spal units. Comes with complete instructions on how to add our GMPP fan harness into your fuseblock, and also a downloadable HP Tuners file to enable the fans in your control module! *To take advantage of the low & high speed operation, the ECM will need to be re-flashed with tuning software. You may send in your ECM for us to program, or use HP Tuners to do it yourself. We host a comparison file in HP Tuners format for anyone to use, or if you email us your tune file we will apply it for free. If you are sending in your ECM for the patch, it will cost $99 for the software licensing plus return shipping back to you.
Note: Installing this kit will require some basic wiring proficiency, working with your engine harness and partial disassembly of the fuseblock. Over the years we have discovered some variance in how GM builds these harnesses and have made revisions to our kit & instructions to cover all versions, but some minor discrepancies may exist.

Great kit! All of the wiring is proper gauge automotive wire. Having the correct pins to plug into the GMPP fuse box makes for an OEM quality installation. Running the fans at lower engine temperatures and low speed helps keep the engine temp more where you want it without the fans on high speed making your car sound like a vacuum cleaner. I highly recommend this kit if you have a GMPP harness, ECU and dual electric fans.
