Harness Differences
Two Relay Kits – These kits will bring one fan on at full blast for the LOW setting, and both fans on at full blast for the HIGH setting.
Three Relay Kits – These kits will bring both fans on at half speed for the LOW setting, and both fans on at full blast for the HIGH setting.
Either fan kit will do the same amount of cooling, and both also take the same type of fan patch in the software. However, the three relay kits offer quieter operation, and also cool a little more evenly.
Fan Differences
LS1 Fan Kits – These kits use the fans from a 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird V8. This is a plastic shroud, dual fan set up that requires minimal modification to make them fit (we supply instructions and hardware/bracketry).
GT Fan Kits (Full Size Truck 34" Radiator Only) – These kits use the fans from a 2005 & up full size truck (usually 2500 or larger). This is a plastic shroud, dual fan set up that drops in and reinstalls with factory hardware.
Spal Fan Kits – These kits use our custom CNC'd aluminum shroud. The shroud is powdercoated black and has rectangular, rubber flaps cut into it for additional highway cooling. This is a drop-in assembly that reinstalls with factory hardware. Our Spal kits feature two 12" high performance Spal fans and is very low profile.
LS1 Fans vs. Spal Fans
Both of these kits work excellent, and free up about 15rwhp. However, if you live in a very hot climate or have a heavily modified vehicle, the Spal kits do offer better cooling than the LS1 Kits.
