Easy installation and looks a thousand times better than the giant stock reservoir. It would be nice if it were easier to fill and held a bit more. But it’s fine for a weekend warrior vehicle.

I changed to larger injectors, eliminated cold start, wanted fan on at lower temp, no vats and a few more specs. Everything was done correctly. Car runs well.

2008 Trailblazer, installation went very smoothly (took me about four hours in total for the fan, new alternator, and replacement serpentine belt)! I can already feel a change in performance, I'll have to wait to see if there's a change in fuel economy. A couple tips: - I ordered the 2008+ P-030017 version, but it came with the manual for the P-030016. This really wasn't a big deal, it was fairly straightforward what needed to connected where. The kit won't include a coolant temperature sensor, so you don't need to drill any holes or make any permanent modifications. - As others have mentioned, a power cable kit and HO alternator. I swapped up to a 300 amp alternator (needed a slightly smaller 91 inch belt, down from the stock 91.5) and added an extra 0 gauge cable from the battery to the alternator, seems to work well. That being said, I can see the voltage jump and dip a bit as I accelerate. Not a big deal and I haven't had any other noticeable effects, electrical-wise. - The fan clutch removal tool was really helpful, but the prongs on the tool that connects to the engine side are a bit weak. They deformed a little bit because I failed to push the prongs all the way in to the pulley, but it was easy enough to bend them back to shape. There's a point on the car at about 4:30-5:00 (in relation to the pulley) where you can slip the engine-side tool under the frame so you don't have to hold both tools at once, that way you can press against the frame to loosen the fan clutch. - The most challenging part was routing the wire for the ECU. The digital manual for connecting it to the E67 ECU in my Trailblazer doesn't specify what pin is needed, but it's the rightmost connector of the three and the fourth pin closest to the large pin (also known as pin G49, which is set aside for the radiator fan relay). I've attached an image of the necessary pin you'll need to use. - The fan is LOUD. As other comments have mentioned, people will be able to hear you coming. It does appear to have a lower duty cycle mode that is enabled when under accessory power - when you turn the car off, it'll run for an extra 15-20 seconds at this slightly lower speed. Otherwise, it goes from off to full speed when the coolant hits temperature OR you turn on the air conditioning. I may look into a manual method for adjusting DC power to force the fan to run a bit slower, but we'll see. All things considered, I'm very happy with it. Highly recommended!

i read forum reviews of your chip and that was why i purchased one. i did not dyno my vette, but i tell you the throttle response overall and the pull from ~1500 to ~ 3500 is awesome!i am very happy!
