Early Gen IV GM ECM’s from 2005 till 2008ish have a small injector limit hard coded in at 63.5 lbs. This year range is vague because some continued to have this limit longer than others. We have a way to quickly and effectively scale the tune by a little more than 2. Around 120 lb/hr is about the effective limit for proper scaling. Beyond that we have to basically lie to the ECM about how much air the engine is moving which then messes up torque calculations etc. In short it is a ton of complication and for most of our customers they are far away from the need of an injector that big.
We highly recommend you consult with us on your injector choice before committing.
