This sharp 2011 Camaro Rs/SS came in with a roto fab cold air intake, baselining at 385rwhp on the dyno. Knowing that this customer was after a well performing cam that made a great sound – we steered him towards our ever-popular ‘545’ camshaft. We also decided to ditch the stock exhaust, going with a full exhaust from Kooks Headers. 1 7/8″ headers, high flow cats, and the Kooks muffler made for a fantastic sound, and really let the car breathe. We also threw in a 160 thermostat to help the car run a bit cooler, and finished up with a dyno tune.
About 85 rwhp and two days later, the car was returned with a much meaner sound and plenty of power to boot! The car now turns heads every where it goes courtesy of the Kook’s and the thump from our 545 cam. Still retaining great street manners, this cam doesn’t leave much else to be desired!
