Another long time customer of ours, this TBSS had previously installed bolt ons and our Rob Style cam, ending up around 400rwhp. Ready to step up the power, we discussed a power adder, and decided on a Magnacharger TVS 2300 set up.
We also added a set of 850cc Fuel Injector Connection injectors, and an MSD Boost a Pump to make sure that we would have the necessary fuel to support the extra power. Instead of using Magnacharger’s supplied intake, we took the opportunity to install our 4″ Fenderwell Intake to get the most performance possible.
Knowing that the LS2 Trailblazers are notorious for oil starvation (eventually leading to spun rod bearings), we also installed our Oil Pump Pickup Tube relocation kit. Our pickup tube picks up oil in the middle of the pan, where it is deepest (unlike the stock pickup which is in the very front, shallow area of the pan).
During the installation we also added a three gauge pillar pod featuring a wideband gauge, boost, and trans temp. We used nut-serts for easy mounting/dismounting, and painted the pillar to match.
After getting back on the dyno, we picked up more than 200 rwhp with 10 lbs of boost from the TVS 2300. Needless to say the truck is a real animal now!
