Tuning cars can be a real hassle. There are no set how-to’s, and it’s difficult to know all of the nuances without years of experience. There are tuning schools but even still there are so many different GM platforms that require special knowledge to get good results with. You can knock a build out quick, but will you waste the same or even more time than that trying to get the vehicle dialed in.
We have been tuning for other shops now for decades. We offer discounts to shops after a relationship is established and it is demonstrated that instructions on how to log and provide data can be followed correctly. It’s a very simple process that our normal customers are able to do without issues.
DO’s
Send us the stock file out of the vehicle
Send us datalogs using our channel list that are 15-20 min long mixed driving with wide open
Send us any drivability complaints that you want to draw our attention to
DON’Ts
Modify the tune file yourself
Send us idle only logs
Send us short 5 minute logs
Send us logs without our channels loaded
Send us 1 hour logs
Expect us to tune around bad sensors, misses, low fuel pressure, etc.
