If you plan on adding electric fans to your full size truck, why not go with the highest quality kit available? This truck electric fan kit includes the wiring harness and brackets you need to install electric fans (either LS1 fans or 05+ Silverado Electric Fans – “GT series” –FANS SOLD SEPARATELY). Our wiring harnesses are built in house and use the finest components, including all weathersealed connectors and robust relays.
This conversion eliminates the power robbing engine-driven fan and replaces it with two high flow computer controlled electric fans. The fans are controlled by the ECM/PCM for seamless OE style control with dual speeds based on coolant temp, and also work with A/C. (Programming required) This conversion has been credited with gains ranging from 15-20 RWHP and fuel economy improvements of around 1 MPG. The purchase of this kit includes FREE fan programming for your ECM/PCM, just mail it to us and cover the shipping. No operating system swaps required! Our kit is intended for V8 gas trucks only.
Fan Assembly sold separately. LS1 fans for 28″ core radiator can be added HERE. GT Series fans for 34″ core radiator can be added HERE. NOTE: If you intend to use the GT series fans (larger) your truck must have the larger 34″ radiator. If you have the smaller 28″ radiator, use LS1 fans OR our premium Spal fan kit with custom made shroud available HERE!
2009+ 2500/3500 Truck NOTES:
Some work trucks are equipped with an E78 ECM (3 connectors) rather than an E38 (only 2 connectors). Some of these ECMs have an operating system that do not always support electric fans. Please verify on your end before purchase. The fan settings exist in and can be enabled with tuning software, but the triggers never activate on their own. They can usually be manually activated in HPT Scanner. We have not found a work-around for these issues and generally recommend not running efans on E78 models for this reason.
Battery location: The wire lengths in this kit assume the battery is in the standard driver’s side front of engine bay position. If it is not you may need to lengthen/adapt the harness.
2003-2007 assumes Classic body style, NBS 2007-2013 New Body Style.

Our manual fan switch (link) is also available for purchase with this kit. NOTE: Fan codes P0480, p0481, and p0483 need to be disabled in your tune for the fan switch, and set to NO ERROR REPORTING. We will do this for free if you send in your ECM.
