Description

NOTE: If you are putting  a truck motor in a swap vehicle please use this link to check out – LS Swap Powered Hot Rod Mail Order Tuning.

Let us use our years of tuning experience to create a mail order tune for your Gen IV Full Size Truck (models listed below). Our performance tuning for the V8’s typically yields 15-40rwhp depending on your modifications, and usually 1-2mpg increase as well! We spend a lot of time working on the part throttle performance also, making the truck much more responsive and efficient. We offer mail order tuning for almost any set up, and take advantage of any modifications you may have added. We also fully tune the transmission, including speedometer recalibrations, torque management, shift firmness, and shift points. NOTE: Some trucks will have a separate transmission controller that needs to be send in as well. If your truck has an E67 or E38 PCM (click HERE for pics) you will also have a separate transmission control module. If you have a six speed transmission, the T43 controller is part of the transmission, and will not be able to sent in for tuning (we can tune it in person or with HP tuners). In this case we cannot edit transmission shift points. One of the best bang for the bucks for a full size truck! After placing your order, please fill out an order sheet for your vehicle (here). Currently we are not offering a core program, so you will need to send in your PCM to us at 618 Oak Ridge Farm Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28115.

We only offer tuning for forced induction set ups if you have HP tuners & a wideband (link).

If you have a highly modified set up (large cam, etc) please strongly consider using HP Tuners instead so that we can remote tune for you. This allows us to review datalogs for the best results and update tune files.

How to mail in your ECM – CLICK HERE.

We can tune for whichever octane* you like, but premium is highly recommended as a lot of trucks will spark knock with the stock spark tables. Using premium will help us obtain the most power and gas mileage possible!

*Virtual Flex Fuel Vehicles (Gen IV): We disable VFF unless you have a physical E85 sensor. You will not be able to run E85 after tuning without a sensor. The virtual flex vs a real sensor is not the same at all. The virtual flex tables in the ECM use the fuel trims to determine the alcohol content. The reason virtual doesn’t work correctly is because all it does is monitor the fuel trims. If it sees them adding fuel, upwards of say 15% then it will think it must be because it’s running E85. So if you have something wrong with such as a vacuum leak or exhaust leak etc, anything that causes fuel trims to start adding fuel, then you will see the Ethanol % start increasing. A physical E85 sensor is inline in the fuel rail, so all of the fuel passes through it. It sniffs out the amount of alcohol content and adds fueling/timing accordingly. This is also important because you are rarely actually getting E85, it’s usually going to fall somewhere between the E60-E80 range.
